Giorgio Armani has a certain talent for taking well-known male athletes and making them into celebrity sex symbols — and in the mean time selling lots of product. So the company's recent announcement that Spanish tennis champ Rafael Nadal would be the model for Emporio Armani's Spring/Summer 2011 campaign has attracted a lot of attention.
Following in the steps of the more muscular Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo (who showed his physique not only in Armani underwear photos and TV commercial, but also posed in underwear on the pages of Vanity Fair), Nadal is sure to go way up in the Google search category as a result of this shrewd move. This is a sneak peek at a couple of Nadal's new photo campaign; more to come as soon as they are released.
